Mutual Respect Agreement
between CEBI Members
|
-
CEBI members expect to be able to speak openly and candidly in all CEBI meetings. It is paramount that all information shared in a CEBI meeting be kept confidential
-
CEBI members do not want to be “sold” or solicited by other members, either at a meeting or outside a meeting. Telephone calls or sending unsolicited email, newsletters or information on your company, products or services is considered solicitation
-
Members agree not to refer or provide non-CEBI members with information on CEBI members for the purposes of soliciting business
-
Names, addresses and contact information are strictly confidential and are to be used only for member-to-member communications
-
Information or advice offered by CEBI members is not professional advice. Members agree to contact an appropriate professional such as an attorney, CPA or financial advisor before taking action on suggestions from a member
-
CEBI Members practice mutual respect by:
-
Being on time, all the time
-
Turning mobile phones and beepers off during meetings
-
Being “fully present” at meetings – ready to give and receive
-
All CEBI printed or Web-delivered content is protected by copyright, and may not be copied or distributed outside the CEBI membership
-
Questions or violations of confidentiality or non-solicitation standards should be reported to the CEBI office
